Throughout the 2019 Fall semester, Dr. Michael Pickard’s History of the Media class has been revamping and reviving this student publication for its re-launch on December 4. Adam Ganucheau, who serves as a Mississippi Today reporter, has also worked as a mentor for the class for the print publication. The class has worked tirelessly to get the newspaper for its release, so stay tuned. The structure practice and races provide, are perfect for creating a schedule for scatter brain people like myself. Running is a great outlet for me because I can see the physical manifestation of improvement as my times get better and the runs become easier. Being on a small team is fun because you get to know everyone very well and camaraderie is high. At the end of the day running is an outlet for me to let of some steam off.Major college key 🔑: keep moving.”- Worth

There was a neighborhood in town where all the streets were named after ships which had wrecked off the coast. My editor wanted me to go and meet the people, to get to know more about it. So I met this person, who was the great grandson of one of the captain of the wrecked ships. Every year, he and his family would go and set a wreath at this street. Here (2nd picture) he was telling the story of when his great grandfather went on his last faithful voyage and that's me with my reporter pad, taking notes. I worked very hard during this job to succeed because I felt that I was not good enough at it. That is the reason I keep this picture in my office to remind myself that I can do this." -Liz
