Hi everyone! Welcome to my first edition of “Ask Catherine” where I’ll be answering your questions every week. Remember, if you have anything you want to know or want my opinion/advice about anything you can ask at catherineopinions.tumblr.com. I’m always happy to hear from y’all!

Q: Who are you voting for in the primaries?

A: I actually wrote a whole piece on that last week (you can read it here ). I voted for Hillary Clinton in the primaries, but if Bernie Sanders wins, I will totally vote for him in the general election. If I could vote in both primaries, I’d vote for John Kasich because his ideas make more sense to me then any of the other GOP candidate’s ideas. I covered most of this in last week’s piece so I don’t want to repeat too much of it, but basically I think Clinton has the experience and the know-how to get her ideas done. And those ideas cover a larger area than Sanders’ do.

Q: If you could be any dessert, what would you be and why?

A: Ohhh, I love this one! It’s so hard to choose. There are so many! I think I would want to be a white chocolate chip, raspberry and macadamia nut scone. I know that’s less of a dessert and more of a pastry, but it’s sweet and bad for you so it counts. It has that kind of easy, timeless, classiness I strive for (like Audrey Hepburn) and all of its elements work so well together. It’s got a lot going on without being too complicated. Like me.  Although if I’m being honest with myself, I’d probably be one of those really messy cobblers because it’s kind of weird and all over the place and kind of unorganized, but yet a total crowd pleaser.
